Ballet Theatre of Toledo is running a competition with the help of our sponsors WTOL, FOX Toledo and American Frame. All you have to do is design and color a picture to be used for the front cover of Ballet Theatre of Toledo’s Nutcracker program for performances at The Valentine Theatre in Toledo and the Sandusky State Theatre in Sandusky, this season. The competition is open to any individual who will be between the ages of 8 and 16 on or before December 5th, 2012. Just download the competition page by clicking on any of the logos on this page and make your drawing within the 8x5 proportioned frame on the competition page. Use only original art, no clip-art please. Bring or mail your entry to the studio at Ballet Theatre of Toledo, 1124 Corporate Drive, Holland, OH, 43528. Your entry must arrive on or before November 1, 2012. The entries will be judged by WTOL and BTT personalities and a prize will be awarded as follows: The winner will be announced on WTOL and receive (by mail) four free tickets to one performance of Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker. The winner will also be presented on stage, at that performance, with a professionally framed copy of their original art work. Runners up will have their artwork on display in the lobby of the theatres. Have fun... and you could become famous!
Entry into the competition gives BTT, WTOL and Fox Toledo all rights to use and display any artwork as well as alter that work for printing and program production purposes. All artwork will become the property of BTT. Entering the competition also gives BTT, WTOL, Fox Toledo and American Frame the right to use the artist's name and city of residence and any photos taken during the award presentations for media and marketing purposes. Downloading the competition page is your acceptance of these rules and regulations.
